Benjamin D Ridenour, PT, DPT

Ben grew up in Michigan and Alaska before moving to New Mexico where he finished high school, undergraduate, and PT school. He currently assists with a sled hockey program here in the Albuquerque area. This program allows individuals ages 6 and up who are unable to play traditional “stand up” hockey the chance to get on the ice.

He holds undergraduate degrees from Eastern New Mexico University in Criminal Justice and Psychology and he used this education to assist at-risk youths in the Albuquerque area for nearly 3 years. He decided to make a career change and graduated with his DPT from UNM in 2012. Once licensed, he worked at an acute rehab hospital where he treated individuals with various neurologic and orthopedic dysfunctions. His passion for learning fueled his desire to broaden his experience to the world of outpatient PT where he can now treat an entirely new group of diagnoses. The diversity of his background in PT as well as from his prior career provide Ben with a great skill set with which he designs and implements creative and functional treatments for his patients. benjamin@physicaltherapyatdawn.com
